These are some portraits of Niko Kaparos I made a few years ago for a small photography show at my second home,
Bar4 with three other great Brooklyn photographers,
Katie Basile,
Matt Occhuizzo, and
Emily Raw. We all photographed local artists/performers and I chose Niko as one of my subjects because he was the sound guru at a few neighborhood bars in Brooklyn, NY and a pillar in the scene. He was kind enough to suck down several cigarettes - one after another - in order for me to make these photos. Thanks again Niko!
