Drift Trikes and Skate Boards!

Harlan Whitman/knife-maker/zoo bomber/puppet-builder invited me to photograph him and his friends testing his latest creation with S.I.N. Cycles - two drift trikes.  We headed to the North Portland Pier Park skate park and let it rip!  A few of Harlan's colleagues joined us and skated the park before heading to work.  Turns out the tricycles are a little more work than they look, but hell - feeling like a kid again is all worth it!

Frenchglen, OR

Last summer my family went to Frenchglen, OR and stayed at the Frenchglen Hotel on a fly fishing trip.  The town, population 12,  is near Steens Mountain and some of the most beautiful landscapes i've ever seen.  One day we found ourselves on an unplanned, though thrilling adventure in the Alvord Desert…when a tire on one of our cars went flat and forced us into the 100 degree desert.  One hour and a few cold beverages later, we were back on the road.  Here's to family, adventures and blowing with the wind. 

Cat and Cam Shoot

I had a fun shoot a couple months ago with my good friends Catherine Ross and Cameron Browne in an empty house in Sellwood.  We spent the morning laughing and making pictures and Catherine was a good sport - putting up with two photographers directing her.  I look forward to out next group shoot!

Austin, TX

When I was down in Texas I went on a walk with a photographer friend from Portland who moved to Austin not too long ago - Alina Marks, and we took photos along the way.  Here is a piece of Austin.

Texas Wedding

I just got back from a truly wonderful time in Beeville, Texas with some good friends from Brooklyn.  Blaine and Laura got married on Blaine's family ranch and I felt honored that they asked me to photograph their wedding.  These are just a couple of shots surrounding that fabulous weekend.  Congratulations to you both!
